French Toast

The land of foie gras and champagne is always a source of culinary and gastronomic inspiration.

The Awful Tower

The French are great as they even challenge South Africa as the country with the longest municipal strikes, usually rubbish removal in summer heat waves.

The food of France is known as red wine and frog legs but we owe them for macaroons, Madelin’s made in silver spoons, éclair’s, deep fried crumbed Camembert and brie.

I would love to visit Petite Paris but the exchange rate makes a trip a serious financial investment.

My top ten French fabulous things:

1) Chocolate éclair’s

2) Chanel Allure perfume

3) French lace

4) Monet

5) Renoir

6) Pink Champagne

7) Carla Bruni: for singing and making the news

8)  The book The Little Prince

9) Creamy Quiche

10) Jean Reno

Mon Ami pass the brie!
